Every individual in the company, or any outside contractors working on the premises, are required by the Health and Safety at Work Act, whilst at work:
- To take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of any other persons, who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
- To co-operate with their managers, supervisors or any other person so far as is necessary to enable them to comply with any safety duty or requirement.
- Not to intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety and welfare.
It is a fundamental principle of the company’s policy that personnel in charge of the administrational activities are responsible for ensuring that, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe methods and safe environmental conditions exist in their areas of responsibility.
The H&S policy for each company and/or facility has been communicated to the employees at each location and posted on an appropriate public notice board.
